Summary
Every day you will Use data from a wide range of sources to analyse key themes and identify possible impacts on the business. Comprehensive commercial understanding of the frameworks and market to take line level data and modelling this as clinical practice. Conducting complex analytics to review current clinical practice needs vs future clinical practice needs whilst ensuring that the end users are complying with national initiatives and programs and understand how decisions made may impact on these. Act as subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the team. Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging external regulation and industry best practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences, and reading specialist media Communicate the local action plan; explain how this relates to the function's strategy and action plan and to the broader organisation's mission and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals Ensure the organization is not exposed to undue risks by using risk management systems to achieve specific goals within a designated area of the business. Identifying risks associated with products and changes in product portfolios to ensure quality is maintained in the interests of the end users and patients with avoidance of unintended consequences following any procurement activity or supplier changes in the market. Working within a designated product portfolio with responsibility for project delivery, accurate savings delivery and uptake across NHS Trusts or ICSs.. Deliver defined features, functionality, or outcomes from a designated part of the development engineering program, selecting the best available approach within established systems. Product focussed within product categories relating to their experience, often including Class IIb and Class III Medical devices, equipment, care pathway services and solutions and associated consumables. Responsible for leading and writing technical specifications for tender/procurement processes, deriving the scope, responsibility for product assurance, development of a detailed product taxonomy for catalogue and analytic purposes and supporting supply chain resilience within specific categories for National Framework Agreement solutions
