Summary

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Installation Surveyor to support and assist engineers on-site, conducting survey work, take-offs, and liaising with clients. This role plays a key part in the design, planning, and technical assessment of heating and renewable energy installations, ensuring high-quality and compliant installations across social housing projects.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct Air Source Heat Pump heating surveys, including kit lists, design, drawings, property details, and client & internal rate schedules.
Work closely with clients and residents to ensure heating system designs meet their specific needs.
Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry regulations, and company policies.
Identify and assess variations and additional work requirements during surveys.
Survey and design for renewable energy and alternative heating systems.
Provide options appraisals to recommend and quote the most suitable heating solutions.
Support engineers and planning staff with technical guidance on-site.
Attend client meetings and provide weekly/monthly progress reports.
Use company software for surveys and scheduling (full training provided).
Conduct quality and compliance checks on completed gas, renewable, and alternative energy installations.
Assist the estimating team with data and reports for tenders and new quotations.
Adapt to workload fluctuations during seasonal peaks and troughs.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience in Renewable Energy, Gas, and Multi-Fuel Heating Installations, including design, costing, and materials take-offs.
Strong background in customer service and working in occupied homes.
NVQ Level 2 in Domestic Gas Installation & Maintenance or ACS equivalents
CCN1, CENWAT, Unvented G3

Experience Required

Proven experience in the Social Housing sector on large-scale installation contracts.
Strong track record in surveying, costing, and supervisory roles.
