Summary
ITL is a long established and successful language services company supplying translation services to various councils and the private sector. We are based in Gateshead since 1989.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual with experience in Customer Service or Business Administration. The successful candidate will support daily business operations, handle customer inquiries, and ensure smooth communication between clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person in a professional manner
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports
• Support administrative and operational tasks
• Assist with scheduling, data entry, and coordination of services
• Resolve customer issues efficiently and escalate when necessary
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Requirements:
• NVQ Level 2 Business admin or experience in Customer Service or Business Administration
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (email, spreadsheets, CRM systems)
• Professional attitude and problem-solving skills
Must be able to provide a professional reference.
