Summary

After School Club Manager
Main Purpose of the job –
• Planning, prepare and delivery of a suitable programme of imaginative and innovative activities suitable to the needs and interests of primary school children at the After School Club.
• Planning and preparation of fun, nutritious and healthy snacks to meet best practice guidance.
• Purchasing suitable resources as required to ensure a learning environment. Keeping to an agreed budget and having financial records up to date.
• First point of contact for handling and resolving complaints from parents and carers
• Responsible for agenda and minute taking at staff meetings.
• Ensuring the safe collection and transportation of children between school and club.
• Escort children safely from school to centre each day.
• Managing and leading staff working within the club.
• Ensuring delivery of creative play opportunities in a safe and caring environment and working with the children re planning these.
• Assisting in the administration of the club, keeping relevant records and ensuring that the agreed Club procedures are implemented.
• Implementation of an annual improvement plan with the Team
• Managing and collecting fees.
• Communicating and liaising with parents, the school office manager and Head teacher.
• Implementing and undertaking a full induction.
To ensure all Health and Safety requirements are met to ensure safety for staff, children, parents and those who are using the provision.
Working to all policies and procedures and oversee and monitor staff practice to meet best practice.
