Summary

We are pleased to offer an opportunity for a Trainee Laboratory Analyst to join our team, supporting day-to-day laboratory operations and analysis activities. Reporting to a senior member of the laboratory team, you will contribute to delivering accurate, reliable results while working in line with established standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

This role provides a solid foundation for a future career in laboratory analysis, offering the chance to develop practical and technical skills in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will be involved in analysis, data recording, and reporting, while working closely with colleagues to ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard, in line with our commitment to quality and compliance.

Summary of duties:
Support the Laboratory Manager and wider team by carrying out laboratory analysis in line with company procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Assist with the accurate analysis of materials under supervision, following recognised guidance and approved methods.
Record, input, and maintain analysis data accurately within internal systems, ensuring results are reported in a timely and professional manner.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, providing support to the laboratory team and assisting with general laboratory duties as required.
Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times, contributing to the organisation’s commitment to delivering reliable, compliant services without unnecessary costs, delays, or surprises.
Due to the nature of this role and the Health and Safety requirements, you must be 18+ to be eligible for this apprenticeship.
