Summary
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a prestige franchised-approved Car Dealership, located in Newport.
Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.
Benefits:
- Starting salary between £29-32,000 per annum pending experience & current earnings.

- Overtime, subject to availability, paid additionally.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Conducting Servicing & Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
- Adhering to both Manufacturer & Health & Safety Guidelines
- Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
- MOT Testing
- Documenting information about Servicing & Repairing – ensuring it meets company policies.
Requirements:
- Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 Qualification, or equivalent
- Dedicated and committed approach.
- Prior working experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
- You should have your own tools.
- Full UK Driving Licence
The salary of this role is up to £32,000 basic with OTE of £40,000.
Hours of work in this Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday (08:00:17:00), with 1-in-6 Saturdays (08:00:13:00).
