We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Maintenance Surveyor to join our Asset Management team. This isn’t just another surveying role – it’s your chance to support meaningful change and help us deliver on our mission of Safe Homes. Transforming Lives.
Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of our asset strategy across your region. Here’s what you’ll get involved with:

- Carry out property inspections and condition surveys
- Support planned maintenance, repairs and capital investment projects
- Manage the Multi Skilled Operative (MSO) in your region
- Ensure our homes meet building safety and regulatory standards
- Deliver pre- and post-inspections of voids
- Liaise with contractors to ensure high-quality delivery
- Contribute to asset performance reviews and technical reporting
- Work collaboratively with housing, repairs and compliance colleagues
- Support sustainability and energy efficiency improvements
- Engage with vulnerable residents and our partners across supported housing

This is a hands-on role where visibility on sites and services is essential.

About The Candidate
You’ll bring:

- A degree or HNC/HND in Building Surveying, Construction or similar
- Experience in property surveying or asset data collection
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret technical detail clearly
- Understanding of building regulations, housing standards and health & safety
- Willingness to travel and be present on sites regularly
