Are you an experienced Data Centre professional ready to lead the operational and strategic direction of mission critical infrastructure? UK Power Networks (UKPN), serving 28% of the UK's homes and businesses, is seeking a dynamic Data Centre Manager to join our Ipswich office and drive operational excellence across our OT data centres in London and the South East.
In this permanent, newly created position, you'll be the central point of accountability for our data centres, ensuring seamless collaboration between Operational Technology, IT, facilities management, and security teams. You'll have the opportunity to shape and implement our reviewed data centre strategy, raise standards towards Tier 4 classification, and embed sustainability and Net Zero principles in everything you do. With the support of the UKPN technology team, you'll influence how our data centre estate evolves, introducing new ideas and automation to keep us future-ready.

- Lead and embed a new data centre strategy and operating model
- Oversee capability, capacity, and operational delivery across multiple data centres
- Drive supplier management, incident response, and governance
- Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainability
- Mentor and develop your team, and advocate the value of data centres across UKPN
If you have 8+ years' experience in data centre management within large IT/OT environments, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and expertise in data centre infrastructure, operations, and security, we want to hear from you!
