Summary
Fire Damper Engineer – London - £45,000
We are representing a nationwide fire & security company that carries out the full fire & security Services From Design. Install To Maintenance Across The South East, due to sheer growth, they are seeking a Fire Damper Engineer to join their growing team.
Salary Package:
- £40,000 - £45,000
- Travel Time Paid After A Hour Each Way Is Given
- 20 Days Holidays (Opportunity to buy 5 extra days)

- Ongoing Training & progression
Responsibilities:
Inspect, test, and maintain fire and smoke dampers in accordance with:
- BS 9999, BS 9991
- BS EN 1366-2, BS EN 15650
- ASFP and local authority requirements
- Carry out periodic fire damper drop tests and visual inspections.
- Identify non-compliant, damaged, or inaccessible dampers and record deficiencies.
Perform minor remedial works, including:
- Replacement of fire dampers and smoke dampers
- Installation of access panels
- Repair or replacement of fusible links, actuators, and blades
