Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will be working with an experienced team of Lunchtime Supervisors and will be responsible for supervising and supporting the children during our busy lunchtime period. You will be expected to help set up the dining room, clean and clear tables and supervise the children on the playground or class base during bad weather. We need a reliable, committed and punctual individual who is able to use their initiative. An understanding of working with children would be desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided including a First Aid qualification.
What the school offers its staff
We can offer you enthusiastic and responsive children; an inclusive and engaged community; an active and supportive governing body and a commitment to your continued professional development.
Commitment to safeguarding
Abbey Lane is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children: we expect all our staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. All shortlisted candidates will be asked to disclose any cautions or convictions prior to interview. The amendments to the ROA Exceptions Order 1975 (2013 & 2020) provide that certain convictions and cautions are 'protected' and are therefore not subject to disclosure to employers. Guidance and criteria on the filtering of these cautions and convictions can be found on the Ministry of Justice website.
