Summary
Key Responsibilities Leadership and Accountability Provide visible senior leadership across the Integrated Hub and Hospice at Home service Line manage Hub and Hospice at Home staff, setting clear objectives aligned to Alliance and hospice priorities Maintain clear accountability, governance, and escalation routes Identify, manage, and escalate operational and clinical risks appropriately Promote a positive, inclusive culture that supports staff engagement, accountability, and improvement Clinical Leadership, Quality and Governance Provide senior clinical leadership and oversight Ensure clinical supervision, professional standards, and safe practice are embedded Lead and support responses to incidents, complaints, and safeguarding concerns Contribute to the development and review of clinical policies and procedures Maintain professional registration and meet revalidation requirements Service Delivery, Quality, and Improvement Lead delivery of the End-of-Life Care Together Hub model in line with Beaumond House strategic goals Accountable for quality, safety, outcomes, and performance across Hospice at Home Manage services against agreed performance measures, contractual requirements, and patient outcomes Drive admissions avoidance, patient flow, and timely discharge Redesign pathways and ways of working to meet demand and improve quality Lead continuous improvement using audit, data, patient feedback, and learning Maintain regulatory readiness and inspection confidence, including achievement of an Outstanding rating with the Care Quality Commission Ensure effective incident, risk, and learning management Assure consistent clinical standards through supervision, competence assessment, and timely performance management Workforce and Development Lead workforce planning, deployment, and skill mix Support leadership development and succession planning Oversee recruitment, retention, and performance management Ensure staff access appropriate training and development aligned to service needs Finance and Resources Manage delegated budgets in partnership with the Head of Service for End-of-Life Care Together Ensure effective, transparent use of staffing and financial resources Act as authorised signatory for bank staff, overtime, enhanced hours, and travel claims Partnership and System Working Work collaboratively across health, care, voluntary, and independent sectors Represent the Hub at Alliance, Integrated Care Board, and system meetings as required Lead workstreams and task and finish groups, providing clear reporting and risk escalation Support work to reduce inequalities and improve access to end of life care Information Governance Ensure compliance with GDPR, Caldicott principles, and organisational policies Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting of information breaches General Duties Act at all times in line with Beaumond House vision and values Comply with health and safety requirements Participate in and, where appropriate, lead team and leadership meetings Work collaboratively with colleagues across Beaumond House and partner organisations
