Serco Leisure is recruiting for an Aquatic & Sports Course Manager for our Wyndley Leisure Centre. You will play a key role in creating high-quality swimming programmes that help our community live healthier and more active lives.

In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you will lead a team of instructors and coaches, ensure the smooth running of our programmes, and drive participation and customer satisfaction across the centre.

What you’ll be doing

- This split role offers autonomy, with 10 hours dedicated to teaching and 20 hours in an Aquatic Manager position.
- Leading and developing our Swim Teachers and Sports Coaches
- Managing and growing our swimming programmes – approx. 2200 children and daytime school swimming.
- Driving customer engagement, retention and revenue
- Ensuring safety and high operational standards across the pool environment
- Managing school swimming, waiting lists and community outreach
- Supporting reporting, stock management and programme updates

What you’ll need

- ASA Level 2 or STA Qualification
- NPLQ or Rescue Test for Teachers (or willing to obtain qualification)
- Experience in leisure operations and programme management
- Strong leadership and customer service skills
- Enhanced DBS clearance
