Are you practical, organised, and passionate about supporting creative learning? I am working with a school that is currently looking for an Art & Design Technology Technician to join a welcoming ADT department in Loughborough.This is a hands‑on, varied role supporting teachers and students across Art, Design Technology and Food Technology lessons, ensuring resources are prepared, organised and ready to inspire learning.
YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
- Preparing materials and equipment for food, art and DT lessons
- Supporting teaching staff with day‑to‑day classroom needs
- Maintaining an organised, safe and well‑stocked workspace
- Assisting across the department wherever support is required
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Previous school‑based experience in a similar role
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- A proactive, professional attitude with clear communication skills
- A calm, reliable approach and the ability to multitask confidently
