Summary
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Plater to join a well‑established and busy manufacturing company in Pleasley Vale. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled plater/fabricator looking for stable work within a professional workshop environment.
The Role- Fabrication and assembly of structural steel components
- Manufacturing items such as silos, gantries, staircases, and general steelwork
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Welding and plating to a high standard
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ensuring work meets quality standards and production deadlines
- Proven experience as a Fabricator / Plater
- Strong welding and fabrication background
- Ability to work accurately from technical drawings
- Experience with large structural steel fabrication
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Stainless steel fabrication experience
- Welding qualifications (MIG / TIG / MMA)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Monday to Thursday: 0800-1630
- Friday: 0800-1530
- £15.00 - 17.00 per hour, with the room for negotiation
