Barnstaple | £12.21 per hour (rising to £12.65 after 12 weeks) | Temporary Ongoing | Rota Basis

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Refuse / Recycling Loaders for temporary ongoing roles based in Barnstaple. These positions are to cover staff absence and sickness and are ideal for reliable individuals who can start immediately or at short notice.

Key Duties

  • Collecting household waste and loading it onto refuse vehicles.

  • Walking alongside refuse and recycling vehicles along designated routes.

  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • Carrying out heavy lifting safely throughout the shift.

Requirements

  • Physically fit and able to stand and walk for long periods.

  • Ability to lift heavy loads safely.

  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • Available to start immediately or at short notice.

  • Must be available to attend induction on Wednesday 24 September.

What We Offer

  • Pay rate of £12.21 per hour.

  • Increased rate of £12.65 per hour after 12 weeks.

  • Ongoing temporary work on a rota basis, subject to cover requirements.
