About the The Role:
Here at Sugarman Health and Wellbeing we are looking for a Healthcare Assistant who is friendly, confident, and hardworking individual to support a female client who has a Spinal Injury, Bowel care and is at risk of Autonomic Dysreflexia (AD). The Service User lives at home with her family and is based in the Poole area.
Carers must be comfortable working around animals, as the client has pets, and must be a Non-Smoker.
We are looking at employing carers with a professional attitude and who are passionate about giving the best care possible for our Service Users and enhancing their quality of life, by promoting their independence. You would become an essential part of the existing care team in this fulfilling and rewarding role.
Duties of a Health Care Assistant for this package:
- Able to support and prompt him with his day to day tasks such as Hygiene and getting dressed and ready for the day.
- Supporting and maintaining all clinical needs such as applying prescribed creams in the necessary areas.
- Respectfulness and be able to maintain professional boundaries within the working environment.
- Someone who will go above and beyond for our Service User.
- Support our Service User when going to his activities such as swimming and going to the gym.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 months professional care experience
- The right to work in the UK and have the correct documentation for this
- A full enhanced DBS
- An up to date CV with full working history
