re you a passionate and enthusiastic individual looking for a new challenge?

We are looking for enthusiastic

Land Management Operatives (x3)

Contract type: Fixed Term for 12 months with a possibility of extension dependent upon funding

Location: The Old Ragged School, Brook Street, Nottingham, NG1 1EA

You will be mainly site based, with minimal requirement to come into the office.  There will be travel required so a full driving
licence is essential.

EMEC is a growing business, with project delivery across the East Midlands and beyond. We have an exciting opportunity for
three Land Management Operatives to join our experienced and friendly Land Management team.

You will be working on the delivery of habitat and site contracts in Nottinghamshire and the wider area. This will include
grassland, woodland, scrub and wetland management, survey and monitoring activity and event delivery.

You’ll be someone who wants to make a difference and help nature’s recovery, with experience of delivering practical conservation
and countryside management work.

Work will include some travel and staying away from home, as well as work on difficult terrain and the use of heavy equipment,
e.g. steep slopes and in inclement weather.

Let’s be honest, not all ecological consultancies are the same. We want to do the very best for nature and ALL of our profits are
gift-aided to the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust to support conservation directly on the ground.

Please do not include sensitive personal details such as your date of birth in your CV or cover letter.

This post is subject to a Basic DBS Check.

We recognise that our workforce needs to represent the communities and people we work with. We particularly encourage applications
from underrepresented groups within Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, the wider charity and conservation sectors, such as people
from Black and Ethnic Minority backgrounds and those who identify as LGBTQ+.

Disability - If you have any support requirements to make your application, please notify us at the earliest opportunity
via HR@nottswt.co.uk [HR@nottswt.co.uk] so that appropriate reasonable adjustments can be made to our recruitment process.

We are a Disability Confident employer. Applicants with a disability will be guaranteed an interview if they meet the essential
criteria for the position.

at risk; and mitigating the risk to our business of financial and/or data fraud. Applicants must be willing to undergo
pre-employment checks with past employers; Disclosure and Barring Service checks at the eligible level; right to work checks and
driving licence checks (where applicable).

Employment of ex-offenders - This role is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and successful applicants will be
asked to declare any unspent criminal convictions.
