An exciting opportunity has risen for ahighly motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager to join a busy but rewarding the IT Project Team within the Digital Technology Services department.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Infrastructure Programme Manager, IT Infrastructure Manager, stakeholders, suppliers, delivery partners, and support fellow members of the Project and Digital Technical Service Teams, delivering projects and work streams within the parameters of time, quality and cost.
The role will encompass all project related activities, the management of resources, with an expectation on delivering quality business case and PID documentation. The post holder will be expected to monitor and manage their own work stream through the project team management software as well as reporting to appropriate stakeholder groups. The post holder should have a positive approach to project delivery and a proven track record to manage and overcome risks and issues.
The Trust is looking for highly motivated, experienced and skilled technical project manager to manage the Infrastructure Departments technical projects to a successful and expected conclusion.
The successful candidate will develop and deliver strategically important enterprise infrastructure projects. It is essential; therefore, the post holder has significant experience of successfully managing ICT infrastructure projects at an enterprise level and demonstrate a good working knowledge of enterprise technical support related to domain networks and MS Window server platforms.

To manage the Infrastructure Departments technical projects to a successful and expected conclusion.
To take responsibility for ensuring that all projects are run to appropriate methodologies and that an auditable trail exists throughout the life of the project.
To create and manage related business case and PID documentation
To negotiate with clinical and management colleagues a practical plan regarding project deliverables as required to achieve the strategy.
To monitor the progress of each work-stream against the agreed project plan and intervene at any point where there is a risk of delay, resource overuse or unacceptable quality.
To create and regularly update the delivery of related projects within the project team management software in the interest of the progressing the project to meet goals and milestones.
