Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6s role to join our nursing workforce on Ward J43 at Leeds Teaching Hospitals within the Speciality and Integrated Medicine CSU. J43 is a 24 bedded General Internal Medicine caring for adults aged 17-75 with older adult care needs. Our patients have a wide variety of care needs therefore we are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic individual with the ability to enable and empower a team whilst remaining patient centred. Our patients experience and patient safety underpinning all aspects of the role. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated leader who has a passion for working with medical patients, who delivers high quality patient care, having excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our Senior nursing team. We need you to have an enthusiasm to learn and to be looking to take on new challenges. The successful candidate will be responsible for the direct managerial responsibility for the ward in the absence/ or as delegated by the Senior Sister. They will contribute to the provision of professional, clinical, managerial and leadership/supervision for the nursing team.
