Summary
Finance Assistant – Education South West
15 hours per week worked across 2 days, all year round
Salary – NJC C7 £26,403 per annum (full time equivalent), approximate prorated salary £10,703 per annum

Education South West (ESW) are seeking to recruit a permanent Finance Assistant to join our forward thinking, commercially minded finance team primarily based in Newton Abbot. This team continues to play pivotal role in leading the development of our multi-academy trust.
The Team and the role
The centralised finance team led by our Finance Director comprises Management Accountants and Finance Operations teams. We operate within a paperless environment and our focus is to provide efficient, timely and accurate financial reporting throughout the trust. We currently manage the finances for 15 schools with high transaction volumes making it a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Working within the Finance Operations team you will be focused on all aspects of a Finance Administration function. Including processing of invoices, approvals, statement reconciliations and query resolution; other duties may include but are not limited to Supplier payments, Sales Invoicing, Credit Control, School Trips and Catering Administration and generally supporting the team in other project driven activities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong, demonstrable background in Finance Administration however we will consider all applications where candidates can demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude, commitment, initiative and a willingness to learn.
