Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Groundworker with Bernhard's Sports Surfaces Ltd. While the company is based in Rugby, Warwickshire, this role will be based on client sites at varying locations throughout England & Wales. The role involves performing groundwork operations, including site preparation, drainage, kerbing & concreting plus assisting in the construction and maintenance of sports surfaces. Responsibilities include handling equipment, ensuring site safety, and collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality projects. The Groundworker will contribute to the completion of cutting-edge sports facilities designed to meet client specifications.

Qualifications
• Proficiency in Groundwork tasks, including site preparation and surface construction
• Possession of a valid CSCS and CPCS/NPORS Card is desired. The company will support successful candidates to achieve these if necessary
• Prior experience in construction or civil engineering is essential
• Prior experience in sports or artificial surfaces and related tasks is advantageous
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and away from home
• Full Driving Licence

Responsibilities
• Perform general groundwork tasks as required under the supervision of site foreman
• Use of Heavy Construction Equipment – Training provided as required
• Able to work away from home Monday – Friday as required
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety
