Summary
Traffic Operator / Planner
Turners (Soham) Ltd, the UK’s largest privately owned transport company, is looking to recruit a Traffic Operator / Planner to be based at our Aldridge site. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the transport and logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and organising daily transport operations effectively
Managing day-one and day-two operations
Communicating clearly and professionally with shipping lines, depots, drivers, and customers
Ensuring all work is planned and executed efficiently
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Have a friendly, positive, and approachable personality
Be flexible with working hours
Be keen, motivated, and willing to learn new skills
Have previous experience in logistics and/or container transport (preferred but not essential)
Have experience with TOPS software (desirable but not essential)
