The LJMU Catering team is part of the Estates Development and Campus Services Department and operates seven on-campus catering outlets, as well as providing internal hospitality and events services.
Reporting to the Kitchen and Food Production Manager, you will support the preparation of food in line with LJMU brand standards and assist with the day-to-day operation of the kitchen. You will help ensure the highest levels of service are maintained while working in accordance with company food safety and hygiene policies at all times.
You will have:
- NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation and Cookery or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience in delivering high-quality customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
This is primarily a Monday to Friday role (with an expectation to work a maximum of 8 weekends a year) on a permanent, full time annualised hours contract.
