Summary

Mechanical Fitter (Engineer / Hydraulics)

£18.00ph to £20.00ph DOE + 22 Days Holiday (Increases After 5 Years) + Birthday Off + Occasional Overtime (1.5x)

37.5 Hours Per Week – Core Hours 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday

Mechanical Fitter required for a well-established engineering company who have a history of over 45 years. The role offers job security and a great work life balance. This role would suit an experienced Mechanical Fitter or similar with experience working on hydraulic systems and basic electrics.

Working within a small team, the successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing and servicing attachments used on forklift trucks. This will include working with hydraulic hoses and cylinders rotators, positioners, clamps etc.

The role will be split between the company’s workshop in Sheffield where repairs are carried out and customer sites for installation, so a flexibility with travel is required.

The Mechanical Fitter Role:

· Installation of fork truck attachments at customer sites

· Repair and service of equipment at the Sheffield workshop

· Working with hydraulic systems and basic electrics

· Use of pool vehicles

The Mechanical Fitter Candidate:

· Experienced mechanical fitter with hydraulic experience

· Basic electrical experience
