Landmarc Support Services is looking for a motivated Cleaning Operative to join our dedicated team.This role plays a vital part in maintaining high‑quality Training Estate facilities, ensuring our Armed Forces have a clean, safe and sustainable environment while they train.
No previous cleaning experience is required, just a positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn. We provide great training, excellent career progression opportunities and a supportive team culture.
Salary:£25,875.72 + £1,127.50 weekend allowance p/a
Shifts run between: 08:00 - 16:30 from Monday to Sunday
Contract: Permanent, 37 hrs per week
Location:Ballykinler Camp, Northern Ireland, BT30 0EQ
Main Responsibilities
- Maintaining overall cleanliness across the camp to ensure all facilities are safe, tidy and fit for purpose
- Cleaning offices, communal areas and accommodation blocks including ablutions and shower facilities
- Carrying out routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming
- Managing cleaning stock and supplies to ensure materials are always available
- Supporting general building maintenance to keep facilities in good working order
- Completing occasional basic ground maintenance tasks
- Conducting accommodation handover / take back duties
- Completing accurate documentation using both paper-based and digital systems
- Undertaking additional duties as required to support the smooth running of the site
The Ideal Candidate
- Basic housekeeping or caretaking knowledge
- Understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Confidence completing simple documentation
- Basic IT skills, including using a tablet
- A valid UK driving licence is essential due to the rural location
