Commercial / Resi Sprinkler Service Engineer
Location: London
Temp to perm role
Van, PPE provided
Day rate: £280 per day
Job Purpose:
To service, maintain, fault-find, and repair commercial and resi fire sprinkler systems to ensure full compliance with relevant standards, legislation, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine servicing, inspection, and maintenance of commercial and resi fire sprinkler systems
Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on mechanical and electrical components
Test and commission sprinkler systems in accordance with relevant standards
Complete service reports, certificates, and compliance documentation
Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and other contractors
Identify and report non-compliance, system deficiencies, and potential upgrades
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company and H&S procedures
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Proven experience servicing commercial / resi fire sprinkler systems
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of sprinkler system components
Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications
Good communication and customer service skills
Desirable:
Experience with pump sets and fire pumps
Knowledge of other fire protection systems (wet/dry risers, hydrants)
Experience working in live commercial environments (offices, retail, industrial, healthcare)
Qualifications & Certifications
Relevant fire sprinkler card
LPC / BAFSA / FPA training (or equivalent)
Health & Safety training
