Personal Assistant in care Job Description
Job Description A PA who can speak either Urdu, Mirpuri or Punjabi to assist with various activities, enabling the employer to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets their
chosen lifestyle.
Job Purpose & work Duties:
Domestic tasks e.g. laundry, housework and meal preparation.
Shopping
Outdoor walking/exercise,
Supporting with transporting to appointments
Assisting with leisure activities
Supporting:
Mobility, ensuring the employers safety
Personal care
Undertaking activities for employer
Ensuring employers home is clean, hygienic, and safe
Other requirements:
Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns
Assisting with management of employers health risks
Establish and maintain effective communication
Maintaining confidentiality
Location:
Within the employers home and the local community of Dudley and the
surrounding area
To provide variable cover during periods of holiday and sickness
Rate of Pay (£12.21 per hour)
Requirements:
Experience of providing Care is essential
Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred
Locally based
Available to help at short notice is essential
Consist
Motivated
Organised
Driver is preferred
Good sense of humour
Patient and empathetic
Ability to understand and deliver the requirements of the employer
Ability to undertake domestic activities
Flexible, reliable, and honest
Good general fitness
An enhanced DBS check will be required
