Summary
Personal Assistant (PA) Part-Time
We are seeking a friendly, reliable Personal Assistant to support a 44-year-old lady who lives with chronic pain. The role involves assisting with daily living tasks to help maintain independence at home and in the community. She has two children, aged 8 and 10, who attend a local primary school.
Location:
South Gloucestershire BS30 area
Hours:
46 hours per week, spread over 3 days
Pay Rate:
£15.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and retrieving items from the floor
Supporting mobility around the home and during local outings or shopping
Light household duties, including laundry, tidying, and cleaning
Grocery shopping and running errands (e.g. collecting prescriptions)
Basic food preparation
Helping with organization and daily tasks
Following a task list provided by the client at each visit
Requirements:
Physically fit and able to assist with light lifting and movement
Kind, patient, and dependable
Able to work independently
A full driving license is preferable
Must have an enhanced DBS check (or be willing to obtain one)
