Summary

Are you an active and reliable individual looking for consistent work in the East Riding? We are currently seeking a general labourer to join a busy team on a high-volume new build housing development in Hessle.

The Role and Responsibilities:

As a key part of the site team, you will ensure the project stays safe and efficient. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Plot Preparation: Keeping plots and work areas clear of debris to ensure a smooth transition for following trades.
  • Trade Support: Assisting skilled tradespeople (bricklayers, joiners, etc.) with material handling and setup.
  • Site Housekeeping: Managing waste disposal, sweeping plots, and maintaining high site standards.
  • Logistics: Unloading deliveries and safely distributing materials across the site.
  • Safety: Strictly adhering to site Health & Safety rules and wearing full PPE at all times.
What You'll Need:
  • Valid CSCS Card: Essential for site entry.
  • Experience: Previous experience on a construction site (preferably new build residential).
  • Reliability: Strong work ethic and punctuality are non-negotiable.
  • Physical Fitness: Capability for manual handling and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • PPE: Must have your own Personal Protective Equipment (hard hat, high-vis, and steel-toe boots).
