About the Role:

Bright Start Children’s Centre Services within Bath and North East Somerset Council are looking for a Senior Administrator (Business Support V) to support our service delivery.

We seek applicants with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, who have a friendly, patient and confident approach with colleagues, other professionals and members of the public, to join our supportive and professional team.

Working alongside other administrators and Co-ordinators within the team, some of your role duties may include:

• Managing a small team of administrators
• Support data management, investigation, analysis and reporting for the service
• Support financial administration tasks
• Manage our social-media to promote our services
• Support meeting administration
• Support staff administration including HR onboarding / offboarding, service-based HR systems, organising meetings etc.
• Generate invoices for services who hire our rooms
• Some customer-facing work through phone, emails and on occasion, building receptions will also be required

About you:

• We're looking for an organised and enthusiastic Administrator
• You will be able to evidence that you have excellent IT skills including the use of Microsoft Excel and have the ability to quickly learn new software and systems
• You will also enjoy using social media platforms to promote service offer and achievements
• You will have demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining administrative systems and procedures and working with databases
• You will be a proactive team player seeking to advance systems and practice to support efficiency
• An excellent level of literacy and numeracy is also required for this role
• You will have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of health and social support agencies / partners
• This postholder will need to be available to travel across to our different Bright Start Children and Family Centre Buildings (Keynsham, Radstock and Bath) and have a presence in the various sites throughout the week to support staff and service function
