About the role
Source Supply is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 3/4 Teacher to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Chesterfield. This is a full-time maternity cover role, starting in February 2026 and continuing until July 2026, with the potential for extension.
The school is a small, friendly primary school and part of a large multi-academy trust. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching a mixed Year 3/4 class with a diverse range of learning needs. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
We are looking for someone who:
• Has excellent behaviour management and strong classroom presence
• Is committed, enthusiastic, and adaptable
• Will become an integral part of school life, contributing to the wider school community
• Is ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding teaching role

Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
- Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
- Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
- Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
- Be comfortable delivering their own and pre-set lesson plans to range of children, dependant on the requirements of the school.
- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
