You will need to be enthusiastic, able to use your own initiative, have a drive and resilience for what is often a demanding role; and you must be people-centered with good communication, leadership and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive, trusting relationships with the children we support, their families and external agencies.

To be considered for this position, you must have significant experience in children’s residential care, including previous experience in a supervisory role. Alongside, you must have within the last 5 years, worked for at least 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children and worked for at least one year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role.
