Summary

We are currently seeking a qualified and dependable MOT Tester/ Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy, well-established garage in Brookfield, Glossop. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

You will be working in a modern, fully equipped workshop as part of a supportive and experienced team, ensuring vehicles meet all safety and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations and guidelines
Identify faults and advise on necessary repairs or maintenance
Perform vehicle inspections, servicing, and repairs as required
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard
Maintain accurate MOT records and ensure full regulatory compliance
Communicate clearly with colleagues and customers regarding vehicle condition and work required
Uphold health and safety standards within the workshop
Requirements

Valid MOT Testing Licence (Class 4 and Class 7)
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional attitude with good customer service skills
Previous workshop experience preferred
