Alde Valley Academy (part of Kingfisher Schools Trust) is the fastest growing secondary school in Suffolk due to the high expectations we have of our staff and students.  We are ambitious for our students’ progress, attainment and personal development and strive to create an environment that promotes a keen enjoyment of learning. We are situated in Leiston, a small town not far from Saxmundham and Aldeburgh and close to the beautiful Suffolk coast.  

Alde Valley Academy are seeking to appoint a flexible, responsible and reliable minibus driver, working 15 hours per week, term time only. A full, clean UK driving licence which includes D1 of Group 2 category is essential, and you would be required to undertake an independent Driving Assessment (paid for by the Academy). You will be expected to adhere to the school code of conduct and policies concerning safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality. This post is being offered on a fixed term basis, until July 2027.

The ideal candidate will:

Be reliable and trustworthy
Have the ability to communicate with a range of people
Be able to work on own initiative or part of a team
Have a full, clean UK driving licence
Have good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations
