Summary
Immediate Vacancy:
Qualified and Experienced Early Years Practitioner
Due to our expanding numbers, Sunflowers Childcare C.I.C. is seeking a qualified and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our established and very busy setting from February 2026.
Hours:
40 hours per week
Between 7:30am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday
Permanent contract
Rate of Pay:
N L W,with additional remuneration depending on experience and qualifications.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A full and relevant childcare qualification at Level 3 or above
A DBS certificate on the Update Service (DBS can be reapplied for if required)
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (can be updated)
Paediatric First Aid Certificate (can be updated)
Safeguarding Children Certificate (can be updated)
The ability to demonstrate responsibility, flexibility, and initiative
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and child development from birth to 5 years
Strong experience with online learning journeys and observation writing
Knowledge of H & S legislation, Ofsted standards, and other relevant regulatory bodies
A clear understanding of working with children and the role of a Key Worker
