Summary
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Live-In Housekeeping Staff for a busy 26-bedroom hotel located on Exmoor. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and cleanliness to contribute to maintaining a pristine environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all hotel areas are clean, comfortable, and welcoming, providing exceptional service in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Other roles such as Bar & Restauranat duties might also be available for the right candidate to increase work hours if required.
Duties
Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
Maintain high standards of floor care through sweeping, mopping, and polishing to ensure a spotless appearance
Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas to ensure availability of amenities
Conduct routine janitorial tasks to uphold cleanliness standards throughout the hotel
Assist with custodial responsibilities including waste disposal and minor maintenance tasks as needed
Support hotel management with housekeeping management duties to ensure smooth daily operations
Adhere to health and safety protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Qualifications
Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is preferred
Knowledge of hospitality level cleaning methods is advantageous
Experience in hotel housekeeping is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a live-in role with flexible hours
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Previous experience in housekeeping management is a plus but not required
A positive attitude and dedication to providing exceptional guest service are essential
Own transport essebtial as little or no public transport links in Exmoor area
