Summary

We are looking for a part time Accounts Assistant for a small engineering company.

Your responsibilities will include ;

Invoicing: Processing, raising, sending sales invoices & handling purchase ledger duties.
Payments & Expenses: Processing payments from customers.

Ledgers: Maintaining sales & purchase ledgers.

Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements.

Credit control: Chasing overdue customer payments.

Reporting: Running reports, VAT returns & monthly / year end closing.

Administration: Handling calls, emails, filing & data entry.

Payroll: Preparing & sending spreadsheet to payroll bureau.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in finance or an accounts assistant role.
With excellent accuracy, attention to detail, numeracy, organizational & communication skills, competence with spreadsheets & accounting software.

This is a part time, permanent position, working 15 / 20 hours a week.
