Summary

Are you an experienced Room Leader looking for your next step up, or an established Deputy Nursery Manager seeking a new challenge in Ealing?

Action Staffing is recruiting for a passionate Deputy Manager to support the leadership team of a high-quality nursery in West London. In this vital role, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to drive high standards of care, mentor a team of educators, and ensure the smooth daily operation of the setting.

Key Responsibilities
Management Support: Assist the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery, deputising in their absence to ensure continuity of leadership.

Team Leadership: Mentor, train, and inspire the staff team, conducting peer observations and supervisions to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.

Curriculum Quality: Oversee the delivery of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring all children make excellent progress and that planning matches individual needs.

Compliance: Champion Safeguarding and Health & Safety policies, ensuring the nursery remains fully compliant with Ofsted requirements.

Parent Partnerships: Build trusting relationships with parents and carers in the Ealing community, handling inquiries and feedback professionally.

Requirements
Qualification: Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (Level 4, 5, or Degree desirable).

Experience: Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Third in Charge, or a highly experienced Room Leader in a private day nursery.

Skills: Strong understanding of the EYFS, Ofsted inspection trends, and Safeguarding.

Leadership: A positive role model with the ability to motivate a team and manage time effectively.

Location: Must be living in or easily commutable to Ealing, London.
