Summary
Rikama Education Limited are currently working with an Secondary School that are looking for an Maths Teacher with knowledge of Teaching Maths at GCSE Level.
If you have had previous knowledge of subject specific curriculum development, this would be an added bonus.
As an Maths Teacher you will be working with pupils aged between 11-16. Ideally you will have experience in Teaching GCSE Maths to KS,3 & 4.
The school will require you to have experience of delivering lessons with varied learning objectives and planning differentiated learning within those lessons.
As a Maths Teacher, your responsibilities include:
- Teach across a range of abilities and key stages, adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
- Promote problem-solving, reasoning, and mathematical fluency.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to motivate and challenge pupils.
- Prepare pupils for assessments, including GCSE or functional skills where appropriate.
- Deliver high-quality Maths teaching that enables all pupils to make strong progress, develop confidence in numeracy, and achieve positive outcomes.
The school has a pupil centred approach to education, with an excellent support team and SLT as part of the extended team.
