Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Richmond Hill Academy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager (Administration, HR and Cover) to play a central role in the smooth and efficient running of our academy. This is a key position, responsible for driving high-quality administrative services, overseeing HR operations, and ensuring effective daily cover arrangements. We are looking for an organised, proactive and solutions‑focused professional who can lead a team, manage complex processes, and contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional support for pupils, staff and visitors.

Potential applicants should ideally have:

• A Level or equivalent qualification (or willingness to work towards).
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and maintain high levels of accuracy.
• Proven experience leading or coordinating a team within a busy office environment (education sector experience desirable).
• Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with staff, parents, visitors and external partners.
• A solid understanding of, or willingness to develop, HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, payroll changes and absence management.
