Summary
The Camden neuro and stroke team (CNSS team) is a 5 day a week community neurological therapy team based at St Pancras Hospital providing early stroke discharge and community rehabilitation to adults with a neurological diagnosis living in the borough of Camden. The team is comprised of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, clinical neuro-psychologistsand rehabilitation assistants. We have a strong focus on supportive multi-disciplinary working and therapists work with clients in their homes, in the community or at various centres in Camden.
Experience of working with neurological conditions is essential and experience of working autonomously in the community is desired, with the aim of providing neurological therapy in patients homes or in the community . You will have an interest in working as part of a team to provide high quality, patient centred intervention and will be involved in the triage of patients.

As a member of the CNSS team you willbe working with patients in their own homes to provide client centred goal focused neurological therapy, promoting independence and community integration.
You will be expected to work closely with patient’s families, with colleagues in other teams, as well as external agencies to provide holistic and effective care.
You will provide assessments and interventions to provide holistic occupational therapy. You will be expected to work autonomously whilst drawing assistance from other colleagues in primary and secondary care.
You will be responsible for managing your caseload with regular supervision and support from your supervisor.
You will be expected to be a team player and work with colleagues within the MDT. Working within the team you will have the opportunity to work with a varied and diverse range of neurological conditions
