Salary - £37,527 per annumHours - 37 hours per week, all year roundContract - PermanentLocation - Stamford CollegeClosing Date - 4th February 2026Stamford College is seeking an experienced Payroll & Pensions Manager to lead the delivery of accurate, compliant and customer-focused payroll and pension services across the IEG groupAbout the roleYou will play a key role within the Finance team, ensuring staff are paid accurately and on time and that all payroll and pension activities meet statutory, contractual and regulatory requirements.Key responsibilities• Manage the preparation and delivery of monthly payrolls• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, HMRC requirements and Financial Regulations• Produce payroll reports, journals and forecasts for management accounts• Manage statutory and contractual payments, including sick pay and family leave• Act as the main point of contact for payroll and pension queries• Liaise with HMRC, auditors, pension providers and external agencies• Coordinate pension administration, including auto-enrolment and end-of-year processes• Work closely with HR on pay awards and employee changes• Maintain a high standard of customer service and data confidentialityAbout youYou will have proven experience in a payroll role, strong technical knowledge of UK payroll legislation and pension administration, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will be organised, analytical and able to meet tight deadlines while working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.You will also hold:• Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent)• A relevant Level 3 qualification• CIPP Payroll qualification at Level 4• Strong IT skills and experience using computerised payroll systemsIf this sounds like the role for you please apply now!
