Summary
Job objectives and responsibilities
Responsible for the leading the day to day shift teams.Ensuring all planned, corrective and reactive are completed on timeSupporting root cause analysis and CAPAS' for technical activities Main duties
Daily attendance at the 0900 / 1630 team activity callAttendance at GSK morning TAPAssigning duties to technicians during shiftsDay to day lead of shift team including conduct, performance and capability. Taking the necessary andappropriate actions to address any inappropriate behaviour or low standards.Hold regular shift team meetings on daily and weekly objectivesProviding direction and feedback to technicians during shifsEffective handover with the other shift lead roleParticipate in work activities, leading by demonstration, and showing them how to do the job effectively whererequired.Assist in training and coaching new employeesProviding customer service and managing complaintsPrompt and correct documentation of incidents.To ensure that communications are maintained between the technical supervisors & client relating to the progress of work orders.To perform duties of a person authorised to issue permits to work. Identify potential training requirements for existing team in order to ensure any statutory requirements are met and efficient working practices are followed. · To attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required · Bring innovation, build solutions to business challenges and maintain a ‘can-do' attitude · Foster and maintain a positive work environment

Working well within a teamLeadership skills and ability to make decisions fastStrong problem-solving aptitudeAble to work without direct supervisionAble to deal directly with customers in a professional manner and represent the companyAble to complete & produce RAMsAbility to plan\schedule both PPM & Reactive workload.Computer literate - competent in Microsoft Office and ability to work on CAFM systems.Knowledge of working on BMS systems.
