Summary

Role Summary:

Millwall Lionesses are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic goalkeeper coach to join our coaching staff. This role is perfect for a goalkeeper coach who is committed working in a professional environment, helping to support the delivery of training sessions and match days while representing Millwall Lionesses philosophy and values.

We are currently looking for a coach who can deliver at our weekly training session on Monday’s and Wednesday nights (7:30pm-9:00pm) with fixtures on Sunday.

As a lionesses’ goalkeeper coach, you’ll be delivering high-quality coaching sessions, supporting the Lionesses’ Manager and Assistant Manager in tactical planning, support match day procedures and foster a positive group environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging technical coaching sessions to Millwall Lionesses goalkeepers
Create a fun, inclusive, and challenging learning environment that supports player development
Work with goalkeepers focusing on technical, tactical, physical, and psychological growth
Support the Lionesses Manager and Assistant Manager during matches and training sessions
Ensure all safeguarding, welfare, and health & safety policies are followed at all times
Represent Millwall Community Trust professionally, both on and off the pitch
Assist with player monitoring, maintaining records of performance and development
Support the development and transition of academy goalkeepers into the team.



Essential Requirements:

FA Level 2 / UEFA C in Goalkeeper Coaching (Essential)
UEFA B License in Goalkeeper Coaching (Desirable)
FA Safeguarding Children Certificate
FA First Aid in Football (FAIF) Qualification
Experience coaching goalkeepers in a first team environment
Confidence in delivering technical coaching sessions
Able to support coaching outfield sessions
Knowledge / experience of players and opposition in Tier 4, 5, 6 or 7 in the women’s pyramid (Desirable)
Experience coaching young goalkeepers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must commit to coach Monday, Wednesday and Sunday. Coaches who are not available all days will not be accepted

This is a part-time, fixed term or voluntary roles, with sessions running in the evenings and weekends
Coaches will have access to CPD (Continuous Professional Development) workshops to enhance their knowledge and coaching ability
