We’re looking for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join the yard team at our Putney branch. This is a fast-paced, practical
role at the heart of our operation, supporting customers, suppliers and colleagues to keep everything running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing
* Safely operating a forklift to pick, load and unload vehicles.
* Assisting customers, suppliers and delivery drivers on site.
* Picking orders manually and handling heavy materials where required.
* Keeping the yard clean, organised and safe, with high standards of presentation.
* Managing stock rotation and highlighting shortages or issues.
* Carrying out daily checks on plant and machinery and reporting defects or H&S concerns.
* Working closely with the wider yard team to maintain an efficient operation.
What we’re looking for
* Valid forklift licence and experience operating a forklift.
* Previous experience working in a builders’ merchant environment.
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
* Good communication skills and attention to detail.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong awareness of safety procedures.
* Eligible to work in the UK.

* Hours: 7am–5pm Monday to Friday, 8am–12pm alternate Saturdays.
* 21 days’ holiday plus Bank Holidays.
