Summary

The Best Connection Tamworth are recruiting a Transport Planning Co-Ordinator to support transport planning activities for key customers, managing both core fleet and sub-contracted movements. This is a hands-on planning and coordination role within a busy transport environment.

Hours, Days & Working Pattern

  • Monday to Friday

  • 09:00 - 17:00

  • 37.5 hours per week

  • 30-minute unpaid break

Job Overview

You will be responsible for supporting daily transport planning and operational administration, ensuring accurate reporting and effective follow-up on deliveries and documentation.

Duties include:

  • Reviewing previous day route schedules.

  • POD collation and system debriefs

  • Uploading PODs to transport systems

  • Investigating and following up on CFX / POD discrepancies.

  • Updating relevant trackers and operational logs

  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting

Essential Skills & Experience

✔ Previous transport or logistics experience.
✔ Strong communication skills (telephone, email, Microsoft Teams)
✔ Competent using Microsoft O365, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel
✔ Organised with good attention to detail
