Summary


Nursing Associate – Band 4 (5 Full time Positions Available)

We are looking for compassionate and drivenNursing Associatesto join our teams acrossEcru Ward(Edgware Community Hospital),Adams Ward, andMarjorie Warren Ward(Finchley Memorial Hospital).

In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality patient care, ensuring patients have a positive and comfortable experience during their stay. You’ll work in a dynamic, challenging environment and be a key part of a team dedicated to patient-centred care. Strong communication skills, kindness, and a proactive approach are essential.

• Provide evidence-based nursing care to an allocated group of patients.
• Act as an accountable professional, ensuring practice is in line with NMC standards of proficiency.
• Recognise and work within the limits of your competencies.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, using resources efficiently.
• Deliver high-quality care to patients and work effectively within the nursing team.
• Competently carry out a variety of clinical procedures.
• Assess and plan delegated care for patients.
• Monitor long-term conditions and the well-being of service users, escalating interventions when necessary.
• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of clinical care, evaluating outcomes.
• Administer medication in accordance with regulatory guidelines for Nursing Associates.
• Make onward referrals to appropriate services and community-based care support.
• Support the physical, emotional, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and carers through therapeutic relationships.
• Record patient data in clinical systems (patient records) in line with Trust guidance and policies.

Please note: This role requires flexibility to work a rota including evenings, weekends, long days and night shifts. Applicants should have previous experience working within a bedded clinical environment.
