Summary

To provide a high standard of specialist physiotherapy service to a wide
range of Physiotherapy in-patients. This post consists of 9 monthly
rotations in the following clinical areas:
- Health Services for Elderly People. (HSEP)
- Rapid Response ( A+E and acute medicine )
- Oncology
- Respiratory
- General surgery and Liver Transplantation
- Renal
- Vascular Surgery and Amputees

 To assess and treat own caseload of patients as an autonomous and
independent practitioner for patients who may have acute, chronic
complex presentation, and maintain appropriate treatment plans, and/or records and statistics.

- To participate in the weekend and on call rota
- Supervise and teach junior therapists, students and assistants
- To be involved in the teaching of the multidisciplinary team (MDT), staff and patient education groups.
-Undertake and present evidence-based projects and research including departmental audit and suggesting practice changes, under the supervision of line supervisor.
