We are seeking a proactive and reliable Facilities Assistant to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of facilities services across the site.
This role is integral to maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and supporting the day-to-day running of the building.
Job Description
You will play a key part in setting up meeting and conference rooms, transporting goods safely, and assisting with mailroom operations.
The position requires a hands-on approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure while delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Support in setting up meeting and conference rooms as requested, ensuring cleanliness and availability of supplies such as nobo boards, pens, and flip chart paper.
Transport a wide range of goods and equipment around the client’s buildings safely and efficiently.
Escort contractors on site, adhering to Control of Contractors and Critical Contractor Processes and Procedures.
Check for new job sheets regularly and ensure timely completion.
Work within security procedures when transporting items and receiving goods into the building.
Communicate politely and professionally with colleagues and customers at all levels.
Provide support to the M&E team by transporting items safely as required.
Assist cleaners with waste removal around the building.
Support the mailroom to ensure efficient operation, including delivery and collection within the building and from the main post office.

Physically fit and capable of handling a wide variety of items daily.
Able to respond to multiple requests and work under pressure to meet customer requirements.
A strong team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues.
Reliable, organised, and able to manage time efficiently.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
