Summary
Provide comprehensive medical services as defined in the core GMS contract, and additional services where appropriate. Deliver high-quality clinical care while working autonomously as a GP, adhering to GMC standards and the GMS contract. Manage a diverse caseload, including the assessment and treatment of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems. Develop and implement care plans in consultation with patients, providing counselling and health education. Complete a share of daily tasks, queries and prescription sign offs. Engage in personal and professional development, including participating in annual appraisals, revalidation, and maintaining professional registration. Responsibilities will reflect requirements of the NHS GP Contracts, and as such may be subject to change as services adapt. Maintain confidentiality of patients' records. Makes effective use of the IT system EMIS by ensuring the consistent and accurate entering of data and codes, ensuring all contacts with patients are legibly recorded. Contributes to practice/team audit /research as required. Support the equality, diversity and rights of patients, carers and colleagues. Follow practice infection control procedures, promote and maintain appropriate health & safety standards in line with the practice Health & Safety Policy
